One of a kind gooseneck dining chair upholstered with a hand stitched Uzbek suzani. Made from vegitable dyed natural silk, our suzani textiles are made the traditional way and entirely chemical free. Entirely stitched by hand, suzanis were traditionally used as dowry pieces, showing off the skills of the bride-to-be. Passed down from mother to daughter, this artform is becoming less common, and it is increasingly difficult to find authentic, hand made suzani. Intricately stitched with silk thread, these are works of art that we have repurposed into beautiful dining chairs.
Made with a solid maple frame, this chair is not only beautiful, it will last a lifetime.
